UPDATE 20th JUNE: Environment committee staff have put together some helpful guides for submitting on the Climate Change Response (Zero Carbon) Amendment Bill.
The Diocese of Wellington has created some fantastic resources to use in your Sunday services, and equip people to understand and submit to the Zero Carbon Bill.
Note that submissions close 16 July.
Wellingtons’ strategy, which you are free to adopt is to prepare someone young/young-at-heart to speak for 1-2 minutes, to:
1) to share briefly why climate change matters to them personally, then introduce the 6-minute explainer video.
2) after the service, help people make submissions online
3) If possible - count the number of people who submit online.
