Strandz, the hub of Children + Families ministry in the Anglican Dioceses of New Zealand, is encouraging us to sign up for the Plastic Free July challenge this month, and think about how our care for creation is reflected in the items we purchase and throwaway. We'd love to see our churches and children participate.
Here are some ideas, great for the school holidays!
1. Get your children and young people to design some posters to encourage the whole church to reduce their plastic consumption. Download the 1pg PDF printable template.
2. Set your church a challenge to refuse single use plastic straws, cups and cutlery - here's a challenge sheet to print out
